Thanks for letting me know that you were just talking smack. I'd just got the impression that some of you weren't kidding, and I hate it when people don't trust me. Talking smack, however, is still fine. I was just a bit oversensitive. I'm very pleased with the misinformer response. It made me chuckle. Oh, but still, y'all ain't got nothing on my lungs. I voted for myself. I didn't think anyone else would vote for me. (Illiana, obviously) .. and had I realized before I entered that it would cut me off so unmercifully (it said you had 2 minutes, I got 1:22), I would have done the damn second verse of the song. Bah. pamie and Omar and I had quite a few laughs about this over weekend at sxsw. Clearly, someone cheated on my behalf - and, I guess, on pamie's, and I'm sorry about that. This contest is mad funny, I'm glad we all entered it this year, but sorry the smack-talk lead to some dark maneuvering behind the scenes. Congrats to the winners. May you enjoy your brief reign. To recap: - I do not, indeed, have a penis, except for the one Omar bought and asked me to wear when we... ah, nevermind... - My cheaters must love me more than pamie's cheaters. - Omar still didn't win. No hard feelings? Y'all can play all mushy, happy, forgivey-givey, but I can't. Is this what democracy has come to under the Bush administration? This would have never happened back in the day. And people were hurt from this...( looking it up on Pamie's situation scale)... disaster. I almost elevated this to chaos. You see, I was gonna get married y'all. But now I will just have to settle for shacking up for awhile because my fiance's votes came from law-abiding citizens that actually voted in the spirit of the competition. My friends held true to their beliefs. They wouldn't be intimidated by Allison's tough girl tactics or Omar's smooth manipulations. And Pamie... don't think we are buying this whole, "I was out of town, I am innocent" crap, trash. Y'all just better be glad that y'all were so damn funny with your trash talkin, otherwise I would be pissed. Okay, not really pissed. Not even mad, I suppose. Actually, it is kinda funny. BTW, I almost forgot to tell you about the true "fiasco" this Karaoke has caused. WeepGirl linked her name back to my website and then told her Dad to go check out the Karaoke. As you can imagine, he found the site. It's not like I run a porn site or anything, but there is quite a bit in there that I would have preferred he not read such as the vulgarities. And let's not forget the fact that WE LIVE TOGETHER AND THEY DON'T KNOW IT! Yup, I think I take the prize for the biggest sacrafice for this Karaoke Kontest.
